Welcome to the Southend-On-Sea Rifle and Pistol Club website.

Thank you for deciding to have a look at our Club's website.

This site contains all the information you will need to become a member of Southend-On-Sea Rifle and Pistol club and join one of the Oldest Rifle and Pistol clubs in the UK.

You can move about the site by clicking on the Tabs at the top of the page or by clicking on the underlined words in the rest of this page.

Under the More About Us Tab you will get more information about what we do and our facilities.

Under the History tab you will find a short history of the Club. There you will see how the Club originated in 1900 as the 'The Borough of Southend-on-Sea Rifle Club' with strong links to the Borough Council and many of the Town's dignitaries.

Under the Membership tab you will get more information on the membership process and current costs. We have friendly and trained members who will educate and instruct on the handling and usage of rifles and pistols in a safe and controlled environment.

Under the Links tab you will find links to various Shooting National Governing Bodies as well as links to Essex Police Firearms unit where you can obtain an application form for a Firearms License.

Under the Downloads Tab you will find copies of the Club's Key documents such as the Constitution and Bye-laws.

Under the Members Only Tab members will find (in time) updated copies of all the safety Briefings for each Range we use as well as Shooting Calendars.  Access to this area is restricted Club Members only.

New members are always welcome, young or old, and for further information please contact the club secretary.  Details can be found under the Contact Us Tab.

Again, thank you for coming to our site and we hope that you find it useful.  If you have any ideas on how we might improve it please contact us via the Contact Form.
